In august we need helpers to move the Willits Young Actors Theatre to the new home.
Lots of storage that has not been looked at for some time and we are going to take it on.
Yep. roll up the sleeves and get the hip waiters on.. time to go in and bring back the best of the storage and toss the bad stuff.

Willits Young Actors Club is Home to Pinky the Peace Clown and many other great personalities.
You could be one too!

Well our season is all ready all we need is you and your child or " little friend " and we are off and running.
More and more families are wanting a new zip in their child's education.
This is a fun way to teach young people that education... learning ... life... it is meant to be enjoyed.
We are so excited that so many professionals are showing interest in making this a large reality for our youth in Willits and the surrounding communities.
The great thing is we have room for more.
If your girl scout club or boys and girls club or church youth group wants to try us on... We are so happy to see you walk through the door.

These classes are specialty designed for classroom and private home school participation.
Ileya has an MFA in the Arts and Mana has been working with children and adults in theater for years!
Check out our site and see if you want to join in with us and give the young adults and children of Willits experiences in theater and the arts that they will never ever forget.
We survive mostly off of your love and tax deduct able donations.

Schedule for 2008 - 2009 Season

This year WYA Collage is offering curriculum for Cultural Theater From Around the World.
New Instructors Mana Young and Ileya Stewart as well as guests from Willits Community Theater and other talented area artists will bring a new twist to Willits Young Actors Club.

September 16th.
The Willits Young Actors Club College is beginging the season with India and the Festival of Lights
The Worlds Longest Poem.. the Ramayana a love story from India.
Parts in this production include East Indian Princesses, Queens, Kings, Princes, Scary Monsters,
Magic spells and lots of fun. Music from "Bollywood and more ! So Much culture plus food will be included in the 8 week course, which will conclude with three performances offered to the community of Willits.
November 11
Celestial Soap Operas Tales of the Sun and Moon from Japan
This class includes culture from Japan and as well as Ancient China.
We will teach dance, movement, art and myth in this 6 week class surrounding itself in the stories of the Sun and Moon Gods of Japan. Easy and fun for all ages. To be performed for a community solstice event.
January 6th
Greek Tragedies. " It's Not Such a Tragedy"
Learn with us about the Ancient Greeks and Romans too.
Stories include the changing of the seasons and the story of King Midas plus more...These stories will make you laugh and cry. We will bring out the fun and excitement that Greek literature has to offer. " WYA's" will take the challenge undo and redo the awful feeling you get when you hear the words Greek Tragedy.
These skits will be presented in a talent show venue.
Students of Willits Young Actors Club to look to the stars and think about Homer and his friends.
Main focus will be slide imagery and multimedia performance art techniques.
March 10 th
Mixed American Creation Stories.
Because we who live in Willits are full of so many different cultures, WYA will take the opportunity to learn an indigenous creation story from some part of their families culture. Africa. Europe, India, Asia, Native American, Hispanic whatever culture you choose you will develop your own work and create an art installation to also add to this cultural event ... We are a rainbow of diversity and this is what makes our country so big and beautiful.

Fractured Fairy tales and Dancing Sow Productions will bring you a Summer Solstice Event you will never forget with a Fairy Festival included.
Get your wings , elf ears, hooves and all the rest to learn all about Bill Shakespeare's crazy characters and their version of Mid summers Night Scream.
A lot of comedy and great fun for all ages.
This is for all ages family fun and kicking in the summer for Willits.

Many changes have happened for Willits Center of Artful Living located in down town Willits in Willits California.
Owner Ileya Stewart took a bottling plant and recreated a place of peace, grace and beauty.
The Center for Artful Living now provides multiple healing sessions, body work, natural beauty and salon treatments as well as Triple Trinity Temple of the Arts and Willits Young Actors Club.
New Salons of health and Beauty for all ages and now Willits Young Actors Club begins it new Season with Several great Productions as well as a New Young Actors College which includes community workshops and evening activities.
Keep your eyes open Willits is waking up and you do not want to miss this years season of fresh young actors, artists, dancers and musicians.
